June 12th 2018 – On June 21st 2018 the Municipality of Centre Hastings will be holding their mandatory mock emergency exercise. The exercise will take place at Timber Trails Retirement Residence, Trinity United Church (Davidson Street entrance) and Wellington Street South, from approximately 10:45am – 1:15pm. Please do not be alarmed, this is a practice exercise and we hope this will not cause any inconvenience to our citizens.

June 4th 2018- Saturday’s Swimming Lessons and Sports Camp Registration Day was a huge success, but if you missed it do not worry! Registration is open at the Municipality of Centre Hastings Office from 8:30am-4:00pm every Monday to Thursday and from 8:30am-1:30pm on Fridays. You can also register at the Madoc Pool starting June 20th.

March – NOTICE OF STUDY COMMENCEMENT

Madoc Water Supply – Class Environmental Assessment: The Village of Madoc is experiencing water supply challenges with its existing municipal wells and requires an additional water source. A Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) study has been initiated to determine the preferred solution for ensuring a reliable municipal drinking water supply to meet existing demand and support future growth.
