A Fun Day at Trudy's

Deputy Reeve John Woolley of Tudor Cashel along with his wife Debbie were approached by Reg & Bev Whitney owners of Trudy's on Hwy # 62 just north of Tudor Cashel, with an idea to raise funds for the Tri Area Medical Centre. What came out of that discussion was an event called "Fun Day At Trudy's".

With the help of the Tudor & Cashel Recreation Committee (Janet Robbins, Christopher Phillips, Veronica Robert, Debbie Woolley) along with friends from Limerick Township (Kevin & Dawn Neuman) the day was planned. Games were set up for children, B.B.Q. , raffles and an added attraction of pony rides supplied by Calvin Stein of Eldorado. Joining Deputy Reeve John Woolley flipping hamburgers was Reeve Dave Golem of Limerick Township.

A very fund filled day that saw the Tri Area Medical Centre receive in excess of $800 (and growing) towards the building fund.

Reeve Dave Golem, noted that some of his residents use the services of the Medical Centre and he was delighted to help out.

A special thanks to Reg, Bev and Robin Whitney of Trudy's for donating prizes along with their time and the use of the property.
