Winter 2009 TRINITY UNITED CHURCH Madoc Trinity United Church, 76 St. Lawrence St. E., meets weekly at 11:00 AM with a team ministry leadership of clergyperson the Rev. Jean Brown, Parish Nurse Bev Holmes and minister of music Ron Moffatt. Starting Sunday January 11, 2009 and continuing throughout the winter, our junior choir will practice and also starting Saturday January 10, 2009 our Senior choir will practice at 10:30 continuing throughout the winter. Our famous Trinity lunch bunch lunches resume again for the New Year starting on Thursday January 29, 2009 in the Trinity lower hall and continue weekly during the fall and up until closer to Christmas. The Madoc Trinity United Church Thursday Luncheons happen weekly from 11:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. and continue each Thursday throughout the winter months and ending in late spring. All are invited and are most welcome to come to Madoc for shopping, visitng, sight seeing and enjoy a wide variety of menus offered through the year at the Trinity United Church Hall- 76 St. Lawrence St. E; (please use the side entrance on Davidson Street). The light lunch is $2.50 per person; the special lunch is $5.00 per person; desserts are $1.00 per person. For delivery to your home or business please call 473-2968 (Thurs. mornings). Come and worship in our newly painted sanctuary with an effective sound system, inspiring music, message, and many up-coming projects including Health and Wellness seminars (Sun. March 29 and Sat and Sun. Oct. 17, 18), Robbie Burns Elegant Dinner on Sun. Jan. 25, annual meeting and pot-luck lunch on Sun. Feb. 8, and guest anniversary speaker the Rev. Audrey Whitney on Sun. June 7 at 11:00 AM We are wheel chair accessible (Davidson Street entrance), and offer rousing worship, inspiring messages by the Rev. Jean Brown, varied musical experiences with Ron Moffatt our minister of music and musical assistant Marilyn Bishop. Our Parish Nurse Bev Holmes offers free blood pressure clinics following church on some Sundays, pastoral care, visiting, and an insight into the body mind spirit connection of the early Christian church. Our expanded praise platform offers large Christian groups the opportunity to minister in music, praise, word so watch for details of guest musicians and artists who will be ministering in the future including God willing the OPP Chorus on Friday Sept. 25 at 7:30 PM.
