TRINITY UNITED CHURCH
Madoc Trinity United Church, 76 St. Lawrence St. E was founded in 1833 and in this year 2008 celebrates 175 years of serving God in our downtown location. We have many exciting events planned and they will be posted on this web site. We meet weekly at 11:00 AM up to and including June 15. On Sun. June 22 our church time reverts to 9:30 AM until and including August 31. On Sunday Sept 7 our church time is once again 11:00 AM. Stay tuned for details of our summer musical mornings of praise and worship and up-coming activities. For the summer months our Senior and Junior choir practices, and our Sunday School are cancelled and will resume again in the fall. As well, our weekly lunch bunch lunches take a summer break but will resume again in the fall.

Come and worship in our newly painted sanctuary with an effective sound system, inspiring music, message, and many up-coming projects including Health and Wellness seminars, Robbie Burns Dinner Concert, Valentines Dinner concert, quilt show, and many anniversary guest speakers including the Rev. Heather Sandford and the Rev. Kevin Derry. We are wheel chair accessible (Davidson Street entrance), and offer rousing worship, inspiring messages by the Rev. Jean Brown, varied musical experiences with Ron Moffatt our minister of music and musical assistant Marilyn Bishop. Our Parish Nurse Bev Holmes offers free blood pressure clinics following church on some Sundays, pastoral care, visiting, and an insight into the body mind spirit connection of the early Christian church. Our expanded praise platform offers large Christian groups the opportunity to minister in music, praise, word so watch for details of guest musicians and artists who will be ministering in the future God willing. Come and check us out and bring your questions and ideas. A warm welcome awaits you.

Eric Sandford, of Trinity United Church in Madoc , is seen in the photo by a display for the Operation Adopt-a-Soldier project hosted by Trinity, whereby a Canadian soldier from Afghanistan is adopted and treats are sent for that soldier to share with fellow soldiers stationed in Afghanistan. The project is also supported by the Masonic Lodge and the community of Madoc and surrounding areas, and over 100 pounds of crystal lite singles, hard candies, letters have been forwarded.
