Centre Hastings Council Attends Remembrance Day Services Across the Municipality

Members of Centre Hastings Council were honoured to attend Remembrance Day services held throughout the municipality on November 11th. Despite the snowy conditions, community members gathered in strong numbers to pay their respects and honour the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country.

Ceremonies were held in Ivanhoe & in the Village of Madoc, each reflecting the deep sense of pride and remembrance that defines Centre Hastings. Wreaths were laid on behalf of Council, local organizations, and families, while heartfelt tributes and moments of silence reminded everyone of the sacrifices made for the freedoms we enjoy today.

Council extends its gratitude to all organizers, veterans, service members, and residents who took part in ensuring these meaningful traditions continue year after year.
