Earth Day 2026: Keeping Centre Hastings Clean, Green, and Beautiful
Today, on Earth Day, we are reminded of the importance of caring for the world we all share—not just for today, but for future generations.
In Centre Hastings, we are fortunate to be surrounded by beautiful parks, scenic roads, busy streets, open fields, and natural spaces that make our community special. These spaces are part of what makes home feel like home.
As we take time to appreciate our environment, we also recognize the responsibility we all share in protecting it. Every small action matters—whether it’s picking up litter, properly disposing of waste, reducing single-use plastics, or simply being mindful when enjoying our outdoor spaces.
Let’s work together to keep our parks, roads, streets, sidewalks, and fields clean and cared for. A cleaner community not only supports a healthier environment, but also creates a safer, more welcoming place for everyone to enjoy.
🌱 How you can help this Earth Day (and every day):
- Pick up litter when you see it
- Use garbage and recycling bins properly
- Respect parks, trails, and public spaces
- Reduce, reuse, and recycle whenever possible
- Encourage others to do the same
Small actions, when done together, create a big impact.
Thank you to everyone in Centre Hastings who continues to take pride in our community and helps protect the environment we all share. Together, we can make a difference—one clean space at a time. 🌿
🌱 Upcoming Community Clean-Up Event:
The Madoc Make Over:Trash Bash will take place on Saturday, April 25th from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Participants are asked to meet at Village Square to get started. This is a great opportunity for residents to come together, give back, and help keep our community clean and beautiful. Your participation makes a real difference!
Happy Earth Day! 🌎
