Madoc Legion Branch 363 Supports Centre Hastings Fire Department with Nearly $17,000 Donation

The Madoc Legion Branch 363 has made a significant contribution to local emergency services, presenting a cheque in the amount of $16,979.58 to the Centre Hastings Fire Department Halls 1 & 2.

The funding was provided through the Royal Canadian Legion Ontario Provincial Command Branches and Ladies Auxiliary Charitable Foundation, supporting continued investment in fire service operations and equipment.

The presentation ceremony included members of the fire departments, along with municipal officials Mayor Tom Deline, Deputy Mayor Eric Sandford, Councillor Judy Brant, and Councillor Kevin McLaughlin. The cheque was formally presented by Acting President John Atkinson of Madoc Legion Branch 363.

Officials say the donation will help strengthen local firefighting capacity and enhance emergency response services across Centre Hastings.
