Seasonal Fire Restrictions Lifted – Return to Regular Open-Air Burning Rules

The Municipality of Centre Hastings wishes to advise residents that seasonal burning restrictions have been lifted. We have returned to the standard Open-Air Burning rules as outlined in the Centre Hastings 2014-31 Open Air Burning.

Please note that all by-law conditions remain in effect year-round.

Please observe the following safety guidelines:

• Daytime burning is now permitted (Nov 1st,2025 – Mar 30th,2026)
• All by-law conditions remain in effect year-round
• Always keep water or a fire extinguisher nearby
• Avoid burning on windy days
• If you are unsure about burning, contact the Fire Department for guidance

Residents are reminded to burn responsibly and safely in accordance with municipal regulations. Thank you for helping keep our community safe.
